Yellow chana (gram), turmeric, yellow cloth, yellow flowers (especially marigold), ghee, books to children, yellow sapphire (if prescribed).

• Disrespecting teachers, elders, or religious figures
• Excessive consumption of alcohol
• Cutting hair on Thursdays
