How refunds and cancellations work across PDF reports, live consultations, puja bookings, and wallet recharges.
PDF reports
7 days, only if you haven't downloaded or opened the report.
Live consultations
Non-refundable once the astrologer joins the session. Full refund if the astrologer doesn't show.
Puja bookings
Full refund if cancelled 24h+ before start. 50% within 24h. No refund after start.
Wallet recharge
Recharges are non-refundable once spent. Unspent balance is refundable on account closure (per RBI rules).
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which VedHoroscope refunds payments and accepts cancellations. It is binding on all paid services purchased through www.vedhoroscope.com and the VedHoroscope mobile applications. By making a purchase, you accept the refund rules below in addition to our Terms of Service.

PDF reports are digital goods that are generated on demand based on the birth details you provide. We treat them as 'consumed' the moment the file is downloaded or first opened.

Live consultations are time-bound services delivered by independent astrologers. Once an astrologer has joined the session and provided guidance, the service is considered delivered — similar to a physical visit.

Puja bookings involve advance preparation by the pandit (samagri sourcing, sankalpa, scheduling). Cancellation cost depends on how close to the scheduled start time you cancel.

Wallet credits are a stored-value mechanism for paying for consultations and reports without re-entering payment details each time. They are governed by the Reserve Bank of India's Master Direction on Prepaid Payment Instruments (2021).

Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Most refund disputes are misunderstandings we can resolve in a single email. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us — particularly for services already delivered (sessions attended, reports downloaded) — may be contested with the gateway and the customer may be deactivated from the platform. We always prefer a direct conversation over a chargeback fight.

We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by events outside our reasonable control — including natural disasters, government actions, large-scale internet outages, payment-gateway failures, and pandemics. In such cases, we will reschedule services in good faith or issue refunds at our discretion. We will communicate clearly and quickly via email when these events affect your booking.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply only to purchases made after the update. Existing bookings retain the refund rules in force on the day they were placed. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
