Common Questions
On the scheduled day, a Zoom / Google Meet link is sent to you ~30 minutes before. The pandit performs the full ritual live on camera from their puja sanctum. You participate from your end — sankalp (intention) is taken in your name and gotra. After the puja, full recording + prasad photo are shared. You don't need to be on camera if you prefer privacy.
For online pujas: yes, but the samagri list arrives 24 hours before via email + WhatsApp, with substitutions for items hard to find. For at-home pujas where a pandit travels to you, the pandit brings all standard samagri — you only arrange the puja space and family prasad items (fruit, milk, etc).
Free rescheduling up to 24 hours before the muhurat. Cancellations 24h+ before are fully refundable; within 24h, 50% is refunded (the rest covers pandit time + samagri sourcing). Emergencies: write to support and we'll find a fair resolution case-by-case.
Yes — classical Jyotish and Dharmashastra texts recognise that sankalp (intention) and bhava (devotion) are what bind a ritual to the yajaman (host). A puja performed by a qualified Vedic pandit on your behalf, with your name and gotra in the sankalp, carries the same spiritual weight. The video presence is for transparency and your participation.
Yes. On any puja's detail page you'll see all qualified pandits with their tradition (Smarta, Vaishnav, Shakta), regional language, years of experience, and customer rating. Filter by tradition or language if you have a preference. If you skip selection, we auto-assign the highest-rated available pandit for your muhurat.
