Yes — for any deep consultation, the astrologer needs your date, exact time, and place of birth. This computes your Kundli and identifies which planets and dashas are active. We never share these details outside the consultation; they're auto-deleted from the chat if you request.
If the disconnection is on the astrologer's side or due to network issues, billing pauses automatically. You can reconnect within 5 minutes without re-payment, or request a full refund of that session. The astrologer is rated down for unscheduled disconnections.
Partially. You can use a nickname instead of your full name, and turn off your camera during video calls. But the astrologer does need accurate birth details to compute your chart — those can't be anonymised without making the reading meaningless.
Chat is text-based: useful when you have a clear question and want time to read / re-read replies. Video adds face-to-face dimension, useful for nuanced topics where tone and body language matter — relationship issues, parenting concerns. Video rates are usually 30–50% higher than chat.
